BeatsX Wireless Headphones Now on Sale in the U.S. And UK

Following an extended delay, Apple’s BeatsX earphones are now available for purchase from Apple.com, Apple’s retail stores and other retailers. The $150 earphones file as Apple’s most affordable audio product powered by the in-house designed W1 wireless chip, also found in the $160 AirPods, $200 PowerBeats3 and $300 Beats Solo3 headphones. The W1 chip enables seamless iCloud pairing with Apple devices and reliable wireless audio connection. BeatsX also work on non-Apple hardware as standard Bluetooth headsets.

The BeatsX comes with Apple’s W1 chip underneath for advanced range as well as battery life, similar to what we see on the AirPods. The headphones are also equipped with “Fast Fuel”, allowing you to eke out 2 hours of audio playback with just 5 minutes of charging.

There are multiple third party earbuds out there which come with a familiar design, so the BeatsX probably won’t win you over simply based on its looks. For $149 (£129.95 in the UK), it’s certainly not an affordable option. But if you don’t want to shell out $159 on the AirPods, this should certainly be on your list.

Available from Apple.com for $150, Apple’s retail stores and other retailers, BeatsX come in Black, White, Gray and Blue, but you’ll have to wait a few days longer if you opt for the recently added Gray or Blue color options.
