Apple Music coming to Sonos tomorrow

As of today, owners of Sonos systems around the world can stream Apple Music directly through their wireless speaker hardware, the company announced. Anyone with an Apple Music subscription, or even a free trial, can stream any song from Apple’s catalog to their Sonos speakers.

Sonos had launched the beta program for Apple Music on December 15th. Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services, said that the feedback from Apple Music members on Sonos was great during the beta testing period.
“The feedback from Apple Music members on Sonos during the beta period has been great,” said Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services. “Sonos plus Apple Music provides an amazing listening experience at home – and we’re excited to offer it to all Sonos customers starting tomorrow.”
To stream Apple Music on Sonos, customers simply have to select “Add Music Services” from the Sonos controller app for iOS, scroll down to the Apple Music icon, and login. I use Spotify, and the ability to stream music wirelessly to Sonos players from services like Spotify is one of my favorite features. So I am sure you’re going to love it if you have Sonos speakers and have subscribed to Apple Music.
