Taylor Swift's '1989 World Tour - Live' Will Be an Apple Music Exclusive [Video]

Taylor Swift has announced a collaboration with Apple that will see her new concert movie, “The 1989 World Tour LIVE,” streamed exclusively on Apple Music. The film will be available on December 20, following the end of Swift’s “1989” tour this month.

The announcement comes just six months after Apple Music made its public debut and actually brought about a disagreement between Apple and Swift over the service’s three-month free trial. Apple initially planned to pay no royalties during that trial period, but after an open letter from Swift that criticized that decision, the company eventually gave in and agreed to pay up.

Apple’s decision persuaded Swift to allow the “1989” album to be streamed on Apple Music, giving the service an advantage over rivals like Spotify. You can watch the trailer for Swift’s “1989” movie below.
