What to do if you forget your Apple Watch Passcode

Sometimes you may forget your Apple Watch passcode and start entering incorrect passcodes. If you keep entering incorrect passcode for more than six times in the row, your Apple Watch will lock you out. You’ll then see a message that tells you to try entering your password again in a few minutes.

But what if you can't simply remember it ? Is it all over ? If that’s the case, then you’ll need to erase your Apple Watch, re-pair it with your iPhone, and restore from backup. Check out our tutorial that shows you how to reset your Apple Watch from your paired iPhone or from the Apple Watch itself.

How to erase your Apple Watch from your iPhone
Step 1: Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone
Step 2: Tap the My Watch tab
Step 3: Tap General
Step 4: Tap Reset
Step 5: Tap Erase All Content and Settings and confirm by tapping again

How to erase your Apple Watch without your iPhone
Step 1: Press and hold the side button on your Apple Watch until you see the power down menu
Step 2: Force touch the Power Off button
Step 3: Tap Erase all content and settings
That's it !
