QuartzSettings lets you customize the Settings app in iOS 8

QuartzSettings is a new jailbreak tweak that allows you to customize the appearance of the Settings app. Using one of the three built in themes, or by using the tint from your iPhone’s wallpaper, you can give the Settings app a significantly more exciting look. Watch our video for a demonstration of QuartzSettings in action.

Here's the video:

Once you install QuartzSettings, you can get started by heading to the tweak’s preferences pane in Settings. There, you will find three options labeled Enable, Themes and Preview.

The Enable option allows you to toggle on or off the tweak and remove any customizations made to Settings. The Preview button provides a preview of how the three different themes look like.
The last option is Themes where you will find all the built-in themes that come with the tweak. After opening it, you will find the three themes labeled Black Panther, Panda and SkyView. Below each of them, an Enable and a Preview button is available.

To apply any one of the themes, simply press the Enable button. No respring is required to apply the theme. All you have to do is to close Settings from the App Switcher and launch it again to view the new look of Settings

QuartzSettings is compatible with custom themes, so eventually theme designers will submit their own themes to Cydia for separate download. This could allow themers to create a theme that goes along with the rest of the custom interface throughout the iPhone’s UI.

I really like QuartzSettings, and my fondness of the tweak is made even stronger due to the fact that’s it’s free of charge on the BigBoss repo. What do you think about QuartzSettings? Drop us a line down in the comments below.
