Apple seeds fourth OS X 10.10.4 Yosemite beta to developers and public beta testers

Apple on Tuesday seeded the fourth beta of the upcoming OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 software to both developers and public testers. The update, labeled build 14E26a, is available through the Update tab in the Mac App Store, and the Dev Center for all registered Mac developers.

The release of the fourth beta for OS X 10.10.4 Yosemite comes just over two weeks since Apple released the third beta for the software, on May 11. It’s been one month since Apple released the first beta for the platform. This new beta is build 14E26a and it’s available in the usual channels, including the Update Software tool within the Mac App Store for machines already running the third beta.

With OS X 10.10.3, Apple released the new Photos app, a major new feature for the desktop platform. OS X 10.10.4 seems to be focused on behind-the-scenes changes.
