The Music App gets a complete redesign in iOS 8.4 beta

To some, it will be a welcomed change, for others maybe not. But, whichever side you land one, the Music app is getting a remodel. Let’s take a look at the changes and see if you’re a fan of what’s to come.

The UI has changed from the 5 tabs at the bottom to just 3. My Music, Playlists, and Radio are all tappable tabs at the bottom of the screen. You can even switch between the pages by swiping the screen. At the top you’ll have a universal search feature that is accessible on every tab. You can search through Radio or My Music.

Coming down from the top right under the search button, you’ll see “Recently Added” section that shows recently added media that you can quick tap to start to play. If you want to see more, then there’s a button right about the section to do just that.
As you scroll down through your media you’ll see “…” to the right side. Tapping on this will give you a menu to play next, add to up next, make available offline, or delete. Tapping on the artist will give you all the songs from that artist, and tapping on the icon will start to play the music.
