The Apple Watch App Store reportedly launching today, features several different categories

Apple has shared with BuzzFeed that the App Store for the Apple Watch will be launching on Thursday, one day before the Apple Watch will be on the wrists of Apple fans around the world.

The Apple Watch App Store is available through the “Apple Watch” companion app, which was made available on iPhones following the update to iOS 8.2. As of the time of this writing it appears that the App Store is still showing “coming soon,” but if the report pans out it should be changing at some point today.

The report shows that the different categories range from “news,” “health and fitness,” and “games.” Considering how many Watch apps we’ve seen lately, there is likely plenty to find for the new wearable owner. Indeed, a site recently published all of the approved apps for the Watch, which tallied more than 2,000 options.

Are you set to receive your Apple Watch on Friday?
