How To Enable Dark Mode on your Mac With OS X Yosemite

So Apple finally released OS X Yosemite to the public and it is currently available for everyone to download from the Mac App Store. As most of you know, OS X Yosemite comes with tons of great features and improvements alongside a new UI design, Apple also added a new Dark Mode to OS X, that makes the menu bar and the dock darker.

By default, the menu bar and the dock art translucent, but have a white tint to them. But right now we are going to show you a simple way to enable the dark mode that Apple is offering in OS X Yosemite.

STEP 1: From the dock, go to the System Preferences or just search for System Preferences in the Spotlight bar (⌘ + Space). Click on General, and right below appearance, you should see a “Use dark menu bar and Dock” checkbox. Click on it.

After clicking, you’ll instantly see your menu bar and dock switching to the black tint color. I am sure you are going to like this dark mode on your Mac.
