The first iPhone 6 orders begin shipping for September 19 delivery

Although Apple has launched the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, it is still unknown for many people when they will be able to get their hands on the new iPhone 6 and order it online or from any near retail stores. It now appears that the first batch of those orders are beginning to ship to customers, as Verizon has issued notices to those who pre-ordered with a tracking number and estimated delivery date.

Verizon lists an expected delivery date of September 19th for these earliest orders, which coincides with the date that Apple and authorized resellers will begin selling the iPhone 6 in stores and online. FedEx will be holding onto the shipments to prevent early iPhone 6 deliveries, but there is still a chance that a few will receive their new device earlier.

In case you have pre-ordered your new iPhone 6, make sure to tell us if you have a tracking number of estimated delivery date yourself. For those that missed the pre-order window, your best bet is to stand in line at an Apple Store on Friday, September 19th at 8:00 AM local time to secure your shiny new smartphone in person.

What do you think ? Have you ordered your new iPhone ?
