EmmaEmma and the Inventor: Resonance is an exciting sequel that builds upon the original hit game Emma and the Inventor. Just as Emma gets accustomed to her new job in Paris, her life takes a turn as she gets pulled into an adventure of her lifetime. Explore 5 destinations, solve over 15 challenging mini-games and more in this new adventure title. Emma and the Inventor is free for iPad.

EverClipEverClip 2 was released today at an introductory price of $3.99, a discount of close to 60% off. The app takes the award-winning EverClip and builds upon it with several new features, ranging from the ability to annotate and edit clips before sending them to Evernote and automatically group multiple clips from the same site. EverClip 2 is $3.99 for iPhone and iPad.

find medicineFind My Medicine launched a few weeks ago, but hidden gems go by the wayside sometimes and still deserve a mention. The app is specifically designed for travellers, making finding the names of any medicines you take abroad much more relaxing with information by name, active principle and pharmacological category. Find My Medicine is free for iPhone.

Updated Apps

total conquestGameloft has released an update for Total Conquest, pushing the app to version 1.5.1. What’s new in the strategic game based on the Roman Empire is the ability to summon Mars and Bellona to your province, strike with piercing arrows and triple-shoot foe defenses, train mythical monsters, throw the Mark of Saturn and more. Total Conquest is free for iPhone and iPad.

chromeOur own Christian Zibreg outlined an update that Chrome for iOS received this morning, bumping the app to an obscure version 35.0.1916.38. The app now has improved handling of search queries, right-to-left support on the omnibox for Arabic and Hebrew, stability improvements, bug fixes and more. Chrome for iOS is a universal app that is free for iPhone and iPad.

groopsGroops is a fairly new number-based puzzle game that puts your mind to the test with hundreds of levels of increasing difficulties. Today, the app was updated to version 1.2.1 with a universal binary to support the iPad. There is also a time bonus for endless gameplay in Time Attack if you are quick enough, multiplayer on additional levels and more. Groops is 99 cents for iPhone and iPad.

On Sale Apps

Cap bubCaptain Bubblenaut is another app that recently gained universal support for the iPad, and it has now also gone free for the first time since launching on the App Store last September. The mission of the arcade game is to invade the square-shaped abomination known as Planet ERF to obliterate every ERFLING in sight. Make sure to grab Captain Bubblenaut while it is free for iPhone and iPad.

SequentalSequential for iPad is discounted by 60% off until the end of May, bringing its price down to $1.99 for a limited time. Sequential is an app that lets you load audio samples for looped playback and apply up to 11 different effects in a rhythmical order. The app will soon be updated to version 1.0.4 with new features and more factory loops. Sequential for iPad is $1.99 while it is on sale.

Worm runWorm Run has gone free today as part of an App of the Day promotion, so get downloading quick. The game, which involves you controlling a hapless space janitor through an ever-changing labyrinth using multitouch gestures, has received several favorable reviews and multiple featured spots on the App Store. Worm Run is free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
