How To Enable Drunk Mode On Your iPhone

Perhaps you end up with too much alcohol on a night out with friends; this can lead to miscommunication on your phone, a misspelled SMS and other serious unfortunate things. Good news is that if you’re an iPhone owner, any such situation can be avoided.

Because the new Cydia tweak known as Drunk Mode, when activated on your device, will prevent you from sending out iMessages to your employer, work partners, family, girlfriend (if she’s not there) or anyone else you should avoid talking to during the time.

When you install this tweak on your phone, it adds a toggle in the Settings app, beneath the Airplane Mode. It’s a place which you can easily access on a Saturday night out. And when the toggle is switched up, a notification box appears saying ‘go home, you are drunk’ when you try to use the Messages app to send a message to someone during that time.

The tweak however isn’t flawless; the user can simply avoid the message by toggling off the tweak from the Settings menu. Also, in drunken state, the user can still send messages using third party messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Viber and Facebook Messenger.

However, Drunk Mode should not be an excuse to drink over the limit without any worries. It’s a novelty, and not being in that state in the first place is recommended. You can download the jailbreak app from the BigBoss repository of the Cydia Store. Let us know if you give it a try.

So are you drunk today ?
