iOS 8 HealthBook App Visualized In A Mockup

A few mockups have been published on the web today depicting what the health-tracking app from Apple can come out like. 9to5Mac’s January report says that the ‘Healthbook’ would be introduced beside iOS 8 and would use data from iWatch.

The purported Healthbook app is said to have a UI that’s similar to Passbook application, with cards featuring fitness data points. The designer Carlos Quijano made use of this information, and those who know a bit about the app say that it is quite on the spot.

9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman says;
“According to sources, the mockups are “vaguely” the right idea. Of course, Apple is likely testing multiple different user-interfaces for this software, and since we are several months out from an official introduction, things can and likely will change (even drastically)…”
The tipster also repeated some more information on the app and iWatch, diminishing the claim from MobiHealthNews that raged expectations from mobile health and smartwatch plans from Apple.

Despite that story, Gurman is affirmative that iWatch along with the Healthbook app will be able to account for track hydration and data related to glucose. However, he points out that the design and functionality expected may change in the public release.

The Healthbook app is expected to surface beside WWDC in June with iOS 8, where Apple normally releases new iOS version. The iWatch however may appear at 2014’s end.

What do you think guys ?
