How To Bring Back Twitter And Facebook Share Widgets Back To Notification Center

Remember the old great days in iOS 6 where you could quickly share a tweet or a statue from your iPhone's notification center without needing to enter each app and share your status ? I will be glad to tell you that this feature is here, but this time it is for iOS 7. Let me please introduce for you Share Widget for iOS 7

This tweak is developed by Merlin Mao, and just like the name suggests, the tweak allows you to quickly share your status on Twitter, Facebook  Weibo, and Tencent in the Today tab of Notification Center.

Once you install the tweak on your iPhone, go to the tweak's settings panel and make sure to enable the share widgets on for Facebook, Twitter and the rest of widgets.

In order to use the widgets, you will have to pull Notification Center down, then tap on one of the widgets. This will bring up the stock share sheet for the selected widget. In the screenshot above, you can see the Twitter sheet in action. It’s worth noting that this tweak also works from the Lock screen. Again, pull Notification Center down on your Lock screen and tap on the widget you want to use.

It is a very simple tweak and working with A7 devices too..

Share Widget for iOS 7 is a free tweak available in the BigBoss repo. It’s definitely worth a look at. If the developer manages to fix the couple bugs I encountered, and hopefully improve the icons, this tweak will likely stay in my Notification Center (at least until someone brings these widgets to Control Center).
