Download iOS 7.0.5 IPSW for iPhone 5s / 5c

Apple has just released a new update for the iOS firmware this morning to the public, and now the firmware version stands at 7.0.5. The new update comes after a 2 month period of the iOS 7.0.4, and there are only few bug fixes involved in this update.

More specifically, the update reveals that it is only for particular models and those include the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c that are selling in China, which means the update may not be received on your device. The purpose of the release is to make network provisioning stable for the mentioned models.

The update can be manually downloaded from this link, or is available over the air through Settings – General – Software Update or by connecting the device to iTunes. Please note that it might not be seen as we mentioned before that it is only for particular iPhone models.

And that might turn out to be a good thing, as there is no confirmation that it is safe for those who are on jailbroken handsets. So if you’re able to get your hands on it one way or another, stay away until we deem it safe for use.

Still if you go ahead with it, let us know how it works out for you in the comments section or one of our social media channels. Reports currently say that it is visible to some users in Croatia, UK and Germany, so it wasn’t limited to China as the change log says.
