71% iDevice Users Update To iOS 7 Within 30 Days

iOS 7 continues to break records all around, especially when it comes to mobile OS adoption rates. The new numbers revealed that 71% iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch owners updated to iOS 7 within 27 days, by Monday. The iOS 6 was only able to reach the 61% mark and it also took a whole month to reach the figure.

And Mixpanel also published numbers, which showed that iOS 7 was installed and running on the 250 million out of the 350 million iDevices by Monday, as reported by Philip Elmer-DeWitt from Fortune.
Tim Cook announced on 23rd September that the completely redesigned iOS was downloaded over 200 million and the new iPhones, 5s and 5c, sold more than 9 million sets in the first week. He also said that 700 million iDevices have been sold since 2007.
The latest figures show that how quickly Apple fans and users have embraced the new software technology. iOS 7 also held above 50% of web traffic in the first 7 days of its release. The first day traffic spike was at 112%, as people rushed to install the new firmware, and within 16 hours of the release, 1/3 iOS users already had the OS running.
While iOS 7 does have some complaints, such as motion sickness and problems with some apps, it has successfully defeated other operating systems.
Apple has also released minor updates to fix lock screen security issues and are expected to improve user experience in future.
